This time we take you to the observation deck of the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world and the showpiece of all of Dubai!

STEP 1:

Ticket Reservation: Your observation deck adventure begins, of course, with ticket reservations. It’s best to do it online, with enough time a few days in advance to avoid long queues, guarantee a seat and choose a specific time. All you need to do is type the phrase into an Internet search engine: “Burj Khalifa At The Top Sky – Level 148 Floor Tickets”. Tickets can also be purchased locally, but expect queues.

STEP 2:

Document preparation:

Make sure you have your ticket booking confirmation, ID and proof of transaction with you. This will allow for efficient on-site verification. Of course, all documents can be had in electronic form. Dubai is a very modern place and we don’t need to carry a briefcase of documents with us.

STEP 3:

Arrival at the site:

The Burj Khalifa observation deck is located in the mall complex. Dubai Mall. Search for location information and the best way to get there to avoid unnecessary difficulties. The most convenient from your own location, is to get a cab, but subway lines and public transportation are also available. If you are staying in Downtown/Business Bay, you can walk to Dubai Mall.

Entrance to the complex:

Once there, head to the main entrance of Dubai Mall. Any security guard you meet will tell you which direction to go to reach the special reception desk dedicated to the viewpoint. Burj Khalifa. The “Dubai Mall” app, which includes an interactive map of the mall, can also be helpful.

STEP 5

Transition to the observation deck:

Be ready for standard security screening and ticket entry procedures on site. After passing through inspection, head to a separate area that leads to the observation deck. There you will be informed about the rules and procedures of the terrace.

Elevator to Heaven:

The Burj Khalifa observation deck is located on the top floor of the skyscraper. Get into the elevator, which climbs upwards at an exciting fast pace, and get ready to admire the amazing view. You can already get your camera/phone ready to take photos and videos.

Arrival at the observation deck:

Before entering the observation deck itself, your ticket will be re-verified. Make sure you have it on hand. After a short elevator ride, you’ll find yourself at a magical vantage point. There you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the city.

STEP 8:

Sightseeing and photography:

Explore the observation deck and experiment with different angles to take the perfect photo. Remember that your time on the terrace is limited, so take advantage of every moment. You can also schedule several such visits to have the opportunity to take photos during the day, at night and at sunset. It is then worthwhile to check the specific sunset time of the day before buying tickets and be up a few moments earlier.

STEP 9:

Return and share impressions:

When your visit is over, take the elevator back to the lower floor and leave the Dubai Mall complex.
